Share your views about 2gether
People in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire are being asked for their views on local NHS mental health community services.
The survey for 2gether NHS Foundation Trust (2gether) is part of the national programme led by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is being carried out by Quality Health, an independent research organisation.
The independent annual survey is an important way for the Trust to seek the views of people in their care.
It seeks to find out what service users think about different aspects of the care they receive from the Trust. This includes care planning; availability of information; and communication with health and social care workers.
The survey is used alongside a number of continual initiatives that measure Trust performance, patient and carer experience. These include feedback provided to our local Patient Liaison Services (PALS), the Trust’s Patient Experience Team and touch screen information points located around the Trust sites and within the community. Members of the public can also leave their feedback on the Trust website by visiting www.2gether.nhs.uk
Trish Jay, Director of Quality and Performance at 2gether NHS Foundation Trust said: “Together with our ongoing feedback processes, the results from the national survey help us to make appropriate improvements to our services and improve patient experience.”
The survey is sent out to a random selection of service users and is used by the Department of Health, CQC, local Commissioners and other to assess how well the Trust is meeting the needs of patients. It also helps measures overall patient experience.
Trish continued, “If you receive a survey, please take some time to share your views about the care you received with us. We are committed to providing responsive, personalised and high quality care. Your feedback will help us understand what changes we need to make so we can continue to improve local mental health community services”.
