Triangle of Care
The Trust is a member of the Triangle of Care national scheme run by the Carers Trust. The Triangle of Care is a service which brings together carers, service users and professionals.
It aims to promote safety and recovery for people with mental health issues and encourage their wellbeing by including and supporting their carers. We are currently working with our inpatient units, crisis teams and early intervention services across the Trust to develop our work with carers.
Teams have nominated Carer Champions to make sure carers are included and are assessing themselves against good practice standards set by the Carers Trust.
We need your help – if you are a current carer of someone using our services you can support Triangle of Care in a number of ways.
- You can give feedback on a crisis team, inpatient unit or early intervention team by completing our short online questionnaire here
- You can get involved in Gloucestershire or Herefordshire locality groups, feeding back and making suggestions to teams about their self assessments and getting involved in training.
- You are invited to come to a training session as a learner – we are running sessions in both counties and would like staff and carers to learn through sharing experience – to book a place contact our Social Inclusion Team.
